Group Therapy

Healing Through Common Experience

“I learned a lot while going here. Individual sessions were helpful, but the groups were very
enlightening in a dark time in my life. Thank you LifeBack.” – Former LifeBack Patient

You are not alone! While one-on-one therapy is important for one’s wellness journey, group therapy can also play an important role. Group therapy provides the opportunity for individuals to learn from each other through honest, intimate dialogue in a warm and encouraging environment.

Group therapy is designed to empower the individual to share their experience and witness the experiences of others. Group members will develop a new perspective on the notion of connection and community. At LifeBack, we offer a variety of group therapies for adolescents and adults.

BENEFITS OF GROUP THERAPY:

  • Gain support: Group therapy offers the chance to make connections with others who can understand and support you in your journey.
  • Find Validation: One of the biggest benefits of group therapy is the chance to connect with others who understand how you feel.
  • Become Empowered: During group therapy, you will learn skills for improving communication, expressing needs and challenge unhealthy thinking patterns.

A positive start to your week! Come kickstart your week and beat the Monday blues with some motivation and wellness with LifeBack!

The foundation for this group is support. Group begins with an opportunity for individuals to share their highs and lows from the past week. This typically leads to a topic of focus for the remainder of the group. Group members obtain support from their peers, as well as feedback and psychoeducation from the group facilitator.

Bring your coffee and snacks to sit around the kitchen table with your peers. Our group offers a warm, supportive space for you to come vent frustrations, celebrate wins, and provide insight to others related to your family experiences. We are open to everyone and every concern.

The group focuses on mindfulness and the different ways to be intentional and focus on the present moment in your every day. We also work on enhancing and being intentional about your self-care. The Supper Club aims to help our clients on their entire wellness journey and end their day with a bit of self-love!
